Through the Electricity Reform Implementation Unit, the State Government developed a detailed electricity reform implementation plan and embarked upon a comprehensive consultation process. This included establishing stakeholder reference groups for consumers, unions and business.

This process provided stakeholder groups with the opportunity to be informed about progress on electricity reform and to have their input into the process.

There were more than 250 groups and individuals on our stakeholder register.
